Dear Friends/Patients:
After practicing dentistry for 36 years, the staff and I are delighted to announce that Dr. Kalee Coakley will be joining our practice and the Ellijay community. It has been my singular honor to be your dentist; caring for up to three generations of many families’ members. Valuing my patients as friends, it was important to me to find the right colleague to join our growing office who would support our philosophy, practice style and professional goals. After a long and careful search, Dr. Coakley’s experience and talent combined with her caring and compassionate personality, clearly indicated that I met the right dentist with whom I could confidently share practice responsibilities.
Let me tell you more!
Dr. Coakley is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is married to Mark and they have an adorable young daughter, Ryn. Dr. Coakley associated for many years with a dental group in Atlanta. However, Kalee and Mark shared a vision to live and raise their family in a close-knit, more rural community. Ellijay is also conveniently located to their extended family and provides for their outdoor interests. Professionally, Dr. Coakley desired to join a practice with a “boutique culture” that practiced exemplary dentistry and took time to get to know patients. It didn’t take long after meeting and introducing our families to know we had both met our match.
You’ll notice some other good changes in the upcoming months. Dr. Coakley will work primarily full-time and I will have the privilege to pursue some “bucket list” goals and reduce my schedule to part-time. The modifications to the schedule will enable us to offer a wider variety of appointment times and days to patients. Dr. Coakley also has additional training in some procedures which will enable us to offer broader in-office services. And, even our name will be changing to “Sugars End Dental”. Her idea made us all smile… as it’s clearly what we do!
So, please join Lois, the staff and me in a very warm welcome to Dr. Kalee Coakley at your next visit or if you happen to meet her around town. Your many kindnesses have always been appreciated.
