Dr. Kalee Coakley
Dr. Kalee Coakley grew up in Michigan and then attended the University of Michigan graduating with a degree in biology. She continued on to the University of Michigan Dental school where she graduated in 1996. She practiced for several years in suburban Detroit before moving to Chicago where she lived and worked for the next eleven years.
Having family in the Atlanta and Chattanooga area, she decided to move to the south in 2012. While working in Marietta, she and her husband, Mark, started a family and welcomed their adorable daughter, Ryn.
Kalee and Mark share a love of the outdoors and wanted to raise their daughter in a community with a ‘small town feel’. Moving to Ellijay and buying the practice from Dr. Fowler in August 2016 has fulfilled those dreams. In her spare time, Kalee likes to travel, run, read and cheer for her beloved Michigan Wolverines.
Dr. D'wayne Fowler
Dentistry is Dr. Fowler’s love, passion and his vocation by choice. He is totally committed to the dental health, treatment, and service to our patients, even while working part time.
Dr. Fowler had a wonderful midland American upbringing in Topeka, Kansas and then loved his college years at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He chose to take a break from his undergraduate degree in Math, Science and History to travel the world and to serve our country as a medical specialist in the Army Special Forces, Green Berets.
He finished his dental education in the Washington, D. C. area in 1980. At the age of 34, he moved to his wife’s hometown, beautiful Ellijay, GA where he opened his dental practice and “The Home of Southern Smiles!” Dr. Fowler has earned his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry by averaging over 45 hours of Continuing Education for 36 years.
